Built by a working brokerage.
Tensio is built by Nationwide Energy.
Why we built it
Nationwide Energy is a UK energy brokerage. We’ve run the same jobs you run: tenders, letters of authority, submissions, renewals, commission statements, supplier queries.
We built our own system for that work because the software on offer didn’t fit how a brokerage actually runs. Half the process ended up in spreadsheets, and the rest was done the way the system wanted rather than the way the business worked.
Tensio starts again from what we learnt. It’s smaller and easier to use, with agents doing the admin, and it’s built for any brokerage, not just ours.
Why that matters to you
- It’s built by people who do the job. The data model is sites, meters, tenders, contracts and commission, because that’s the work.
- It’s built with brokers. We’re building it alongside a design-partner brokerage, and their team shapes what we build next.
- It’s walled off from our broking. We know a brokerage building software for other brokerages needs explaining. Your data is separated in the database, nobody in our broking business can see it, and the contract says we’ll never use it to approach your customers. Read how your data is kept separate
